Wimbledon 2022: John Isner breaks all-time record for serving aces - 13,729 and counting

American John Isner broke the all-time document for serving aces on Friday early in his Wimbledon third-round match in opposition to Italian teenager Jannik Sinner.

Needing 5 aces to beat Ivo Karlovic's main mark of 13,728, the 37-year-old Isner despatched three hurtling previous Sinner within the first sport and three extra within the second.

The record-breaking supply was clocked at 130mph.

Isner, who stands six foot 10, served 36 whereas knocking out twice former champion Andy Murray within the earlier spherical after which he spoke of his satisfaction at being able to overhaul Karlovic.
