Murder Mystery 2 Release Date

When they are invited to attend their friend the Maharaja’s (Adeel Akhtar) wedding on his private island, Nick and Audrey Spitz (Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston), now full-time detectives striving to launch their private eye agency, have been working on solving murder mysteries for four years.

However, tragedy returns to the Spitzes when the groom is taken hostage shortly after the celebrations start, making every glitzy visitor, family member, and the bride herself a suspect. In MURDER MYSTERY 2, Nick and Audrey Spitz are given the chance to experience everything they’ve always wanted, including their long-awaited trip to Paris and a chance for their detective firm to succeed.

James Vanderbilt’s screenplay for Murder Mystery 2 will be directed by Jeremy Garelick (The Binge). Sandler will produce the follow-up through Happy Madison, and Aniston will do it through her Echo films label. Producers include Vanderbilt, James Stern of Endgame Entertainment, Allen Covert of Happy Madison, and Tripp Vinson of Vinson Films.

Gemma Arterton and Luke Evans both starred in the first movie. Despite garnering negative reviews, Murder Mystery went on to become one of Netflix’s most-streamed original films and a great success.
