India’s DAY 7 schedule at Paris Olympics 2024

So, it is time for day 7 at the Paris Olympics 2024, talking about day 6 a little bit.

Sort of a mixed day, you got your third medal in the shooting arena, but a heartbreak from the badminton court, Satvik Sairaj Dankaretty and Chirag Shetty got eliminated and they were one of the medal contenders for India. Day 7, not any medal event as such, but a lot of things to look forward to in this, on this day. First up, you will be having Manu Bhakar back in action in one of her favourite events, the 25 metre pistol women's qualification event.

It starts at 12.30 pm, you will see Manu Bhakar and Isha Singh featuring in this.

Definitely, eyes are going to be on Manu Bhakar, top 8 shooters would be qualifying for the final and a very big question that will Manu Bhakar be getting 3 medals.

Will it be a sweep, clean sweep for her? 3 medals in 3 events, it is to be seen,

but this is just the qualification round. 12.30,

The first precision event and then rapid event at 3.30 pm.

Keep your eyes on Manu Bhakar. Another event in shooting, you will have Anandjeet Singh in the Skeet men's qualification. It is day 1, multi-day qualification event.

1 pm is when you have to keep your eyes on him also. Badminton, great day for Lakshya Sen, heartbreak for HS Pranoy. You know, both the Indians faced each other in the pre-quarter finals.

Lakshya Sen won that game and now today he will be facing his Chinese Taipei opponent at 6.30 pm is when you will see Lakshya Sen. If he wins this game, he would definitely be going into, he would qualify for and even if he loses the semi-final, he will get a shot at the bronze medal.

So, it is very very important game for Lakshya Sen.

If he wins this, he will be really really close to that Olympic medal. Then in golf, you have Gaganjeet Bhullar and Subhanka Sharma. Yesterday was day 1 of the golf event, men's round 1. Today is round 2. So, eyes will be on them.

They are not doing really well as far as the standings are concerned, but they will try to, you know, sort of get do better on day 2. Sailing women's, you have Netra Kumari and in the women's event and men's event, you have Vishnu, Vishnu who both of them, it's day 3 and 4 for both of them today. 3.45 pm is when you will see the women's event and 7 pm is when you will see the men's event.

Athletics starts tomorrow 5000 meters round 1. Parul Chaudhary and Ankita, you will see them feature in this event. It's at 9.40 pm Indian standard time.

Men's shot put qualification round also.

Even Judo you will see starting tomorrow. You will have Tolika Mahan women's 74 kg per, it's the first round 1.30 pm and if she sort of qualifies, you will see her in the medal match also tomorrow at 7.30 pm itself. 4. Then hockey men's match Australia.

Tough opponents in Australia, but India after a heartbreaking loss against Belgium, you know, they would want to beat Australia so that they sort of qualify in a better position so that they get a weaker opposition going into the quarter finals of the men's hockey. Arch 3 mixed team event.

It's Ankita and Dhiraj.

Both of them heartbreaks for them in their men's team event, women's team event, men's individual, women's individual, but now it's mixed team event time. It's versus Indonesia round of 16. 1.20 pm is when you will see them in action if they win.

You have the quarter final, semi final, bronze medal match, gold medal match, all of these things tomorrow itself, but the first challenge in itself would be winning against the Indonesian archers mixed team.

So this event keep your eyes 1.30 pm is when you are supposed to see this. So definitely could be a really really big day for the Indian contingent.

You could see Lakshya Sen going ahead. You could see India beating Australia in the hockey event, but no medal event as such, but definitely a very important day as far as the badminton arena and you are also going to see Manu Bhakar's event.

So two really important things to look forward to Lakshya Sen's quarter final and Manu Bhakar's qualification round.
