India opened its Asian males’s U20 Volleyball marketing campaign with a thumping win over three-time winner Japan in Riffa, Bahrain on Tuesday.
India, led by the performances of captain Dushyant Sing, Aman Kumar, Sameer Chaudhary and Sachin Dagar, outclassed the Japanese aspect 3-1 (19-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-23).
It would face six-time winner Iran in its second Pool C match on Wednesday.
India was crushed 3-0 by Iran within the spherical of 16 within the earlier version which was additionally held in Riffa in 2018.
