In 2021, the state cupboard accredited a state-level sports activities mission with an estimated outlay of Rs. 356.38 crore for the event of infrastructure at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and the development of the Birsa Munda Worldwide Hockey Stadium in Rourkela.
