India will face off in opposition to Spain on January 13 in its first match of the 2023 FIH Odisha Hockey Males’s World Cup on the Bisra Munda Stadium in Rourkela.
The lads in blue are pitted in opposition to heavyweights England and Spain together with Wales in Pool D.
2016 Olympic gold medallists Argentina and Africa’s highest-ranked nation South Africa will play the opening match on the Kalinga Stadium of Bhubaneswar, which hosted the final Males’s World Cup ultimate in 2018.
All groups will play in each venues. In whole, 44 matches shall be performed, with the ultimate scheduled on 29 January (7pm IST) in Bhubaneswar.
